It's Christmas Time Again!

We at Simple Dental hope all of you have a joyous and happy Holiday season this year! Many of you have wondered about what happened (and is happening) with the phone situation and Simple Dental. Well, long story short, we have a new phone provider due to the old one dropping the ball in a major way. Basically, from the end of September to mid November, Simple Dental lost all of its normal phone lines due to the move. Numbers were not ported over as they should have been and the main company moved at its own pace because, as we were told, they could. Even to date, our 1-800 service is still down but, we are told, it will be up this week (12/11/2006). Of course, we were told it would be up LATE week too so, just keep using the existing numbers or the 832-239-8533 to make sure you will get through.

We had our December Workshop and it was a huge success! The doctors learned many, many new things and all were greatly amazed at the improvements in thier procedures. It's always a satisfying feeling to see the lights turn on once they get thier "hands on" experience.

I do want to mention here that the Samurai Bur is designed to be used in handpieces at 400,000 RPM or BELOW. There has been quite alot of discussion about the Samurai and another copy of the Samurai called the Razor "shattering" when used in Air Turbine handpieces. Dentists need to contact thier handpiece manufacturers and get the PSI to RPM conversion rate to make sure that the burs stay below the 400,000 RPM upper limit. This will almost completely stop any "shattering" effects. Also, Simple Dental still offers 100 Samurai Burs for only $249.00 plus shipping, still the lowest regular price out there! So be sure to pick up a few packs for the holidays!

Lastly, all of us at Simple Dental want to wish you safe as well as happy holidays. May you have great times that become greater memories!
